④We don’t see each other now, but we used to very often. (=…we used to see each other very often.)
我们现在彼此不见面了，但是以前是经常见面的。
在某些动词、形容词或名词之后，不定式符号to也可省略。如：
①She may go if she likes (to).如果她想去，也可以去。
②----Can you fix the radio?
----OK, I’ll try. (=I’ll try to fix the radio.)
“你能修理这部收音机吗？”
“好，我试试看。”
③Don’t let him leave the department if he is not ready (to).
不要让他离开这个部门，假如他不愿意的话。
④He says he will come as soon as he has got a chance (to).
他说一有机会就来。
